By cybrbeth from Lenexa, KS on 10/01/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although the fit is described as "sits at natural waist," these pants sat lower on me. The waist size is far too large, and even if I had the waist taken in, it would still be too low at the back. Fit through the hips and crotch is pretty snug.

By Marie from Boulder, CO on 09/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I sent this blazer back. I am tall (5-10) and usually wear an 8 or 10. I ordered an 8 in this blazer and found it cut very large in the body. The sleeves were just right on me but I have very long arms. If you are looking for a trim stylish fit as portrayed in the photo, you might need two sizes smaller than your regular size.
By Jess from Lakewood, CO on 09/04/2008 Best Uses: Formal Occasions Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Chest Size: Feels true to size Neck Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very beautiful blouse but does not come with a lace camisole as shown in the picture. I normally wear a size medium and the sleeves are 3/4 length on me.
By Nancy from Wisconsin on 09/02/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Classic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore the hibiscus color to a casual wedding with a dressy white blouse. They packed well and stayed looking nice all day. I have a hard time finding pants that are big enough on the waist without being huge on the hips. These fit the bill.
Description is inaccurate By Sierra Trader from California North Coast on 09/01/2008 Pros: High Quality, Stylish, Versatile Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Best Uses: Casual Work Days, To School, To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The description says these pants sit at the natural waist, but the pant tags describe them as "mid-rise." They seem more like a low-rise or a slouchy mid-rise. I usually prefer pants to sit at the natural waist. I have a small waist-to-hip ratio and have trouble finding pants and skirts to fit. I ordered a 6P and found the length to be at least 1-1/2" too long. The overall quality of fabric and construction appears to be quite good.
By Jules from Raleigh, NC on 08/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish Best Uses: Leisure Wear, On a Date, To School, To Work Describe Yourself: Career, Casual, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Thse pants fit perfectly; the waist is tapered from a comfortable hip, seat and thigh cut. The length of 16R was long enough for boots or heeled shoes, and the fabric (I purchased MIDNIGHT) was a lovely dark navy with a subtle stripe weave. The "hardware" - button at waist and tasteful grommets, were silver in colour and made the pants dressier than jeans. I paired them with the FDJ navy corderoy jacket - it makes a nice ensemble.
By Mountain Mom from Colorado on 08/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was pleasantly surprised when I received these jeans. I had concerns that they might be frumpy looking, but I was wrong. They are very comfortable, and the bit of stretch makes them flattering. There is nothing fancy about them as far as pockets or adornments, but they are a good, all around jean for everyday wear.
mid rise = high waist band ?! By casual in colorado from Colorado on 08/20/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Classic, Eclectic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I would never have ordered this item had I known that mid rise meant the waistband would come up to the bottom of my ribcage (well almost). This is way outdated. Otherwise good material and good length for me-a little longer than some. Please |
