I ordered these for my husband. He needed something to protect his dress shoes for work. With the slippery, snowy, wet conditions of a Cleveland winter, these commuter shoes have done their job. They slip on easily over his oxfords and keep his feet and his shoes warm and dry. The traction is great for the sidewalks that are not quite cleared.

Bulky, Difficult Entry & Exit
Best Uses:
Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

I like the product quite a bit, but the sizing is a fair bit off. These overshoes were supposed to fit up to a size 10 shoe, but out of my 5 pair of 9.5s, I could only get one pair to fit. Shoes with a wide or pointy toe just won't fit without a larger size. The next size up would have been better.

They also make it almost impossible to drive a standard transmission car.

I got the extra large for 9-10 for my husband. He couldn't jam any of his sz 10 dress shoes into these. We gave them to a friend visiting fron NY,he wears a sz. 9. He loved the styling and quality. These are a great product, just seem to run small

Recommended
By EclecticVerified Reviewer from Wisconsin on 11/27/2007
Pros:
Clips like fanny pack, Durable, Opens Wide, Price, Velcro from ankle up, Vibram Soles, Water resistant
Cons:
Small calf opening
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Fits over sz7 - 8 slipper, Wet Weather
Describe Yourself:
Alternative, Casual, Conservative, Stylish, Trendy
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I purchased this to fit over some leather-soled shearling shoe-look slippers which I will be wearing everywhere now that it is cold out. I wear a size 8 and it fits over my sz 8 sneaker and also the slippers. It is perfect except that they could have allowed for a wider leg. I'll just scrunch it down a bit. The clip is like the kind found on a belt-pack. Easy to use and easy to replace if it breaks.
