By MDJSON from Vancouver, Wa. on 09/03/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: love the outdoors Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is becoming my go to fleese, it keeps the cold at bay. It is a fairly heavy weight jacket so I wear it alone. The few times I have used it as a layer it was to hot.
By Scoop O'Doule from Portland, OR on 09/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a cute hat in both colors! The fleece lining means it's not itchy. Great hat!
Only used it once so far but... By way out there from Seattle, WA on 09/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took this out on an overnight during hot weather and left the fly off. Nice to be able to see out the whole tent, not just the top or side. It was easy to set up. I am having a hard time finding a footprint for it. I hope to take it out this fall and see how it holds up in the rainy/dewy northwest.
awesome top, runs a bit big By Kristen the Climber from Denver, CO on 09/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I climb in this shirt and love it. Fair warning, it's a bit low cut, partly because of the style, but also because it's a bit bigger, even compared to other marmot tops. I do love that it's longer and doesn't ride up.
By Kristen from Denver, CO on 09/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Stylish, Supportive Describe Yourself: Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one of my favorite tops to climb in. The design in back is really cute, and I get a lot of compliments on it. it is cut lower in front, and is long enough, but not by much, so it may ride up if you're taller.
Great Tent - sleeps 2 med build comfy By mosesnbklyn from Brooklyn, NY on 09/01/2008 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Cons: Provide your own mattress Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Best used on grass, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got the tent for a weekend trip to the delaware water gap. It was easy to setup in the dark, kept us and our gear dry with the fly (unlike some of our friends), and is very lightweight. The materials seem high quality uncluding the zippers and rods. Barely used any stakes. Unfortunately the ground was rocky onsite, and the tarp we used underneath wasnt comfy enough, so I was forced to make a last minute trip to [...]. It was cozy for 2 people medium build with light gear (car camping), I dont think it can fit 3 adults - maybe scouts.
Light, comfortable, warmer than expected By DishSoap from Mountain View, CA on 08/26/2008 Pros: Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Although I definitely would not use this bag in cold weather, it was plenty warm on a recent night in the Rockys with temps as low as 37 degrees F. It is also very light, easy to stow and looks great. I have the long and at 6 feet can still stretch out with the top closee over my head rather than under my chin for extra warmth, so having no hood was not a problem.
By outdoor lover from maine on 08/25/2008 Bottom Line: Comments: I love this jacket, can't recommend it enough. People can't stop touching it!
Durable comfortable wind-rain proof By trail-rider from western mountain states U.S.A on 08/23/2008 Pros: Adequate room for 1 pers, Comfortable, Dark floor drys quickly, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Good ventilation, Sturdy, Waterproof, Wind resistant, Zipper hi-qualilty-quiet Cons: Fly could be lighter, Poles just fair, Small vestibule, Water puddled on fly Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Hiking, Motorcycle Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall good value at less than [$]. Marmot superior quality. Heavier material disqualifies this tent as an "ultra-light" inmho, however is durable and reliable. Kept me perfectly dry, warm in windy, rainy summer conditions at 9k ft. Dark floor drys quickly. Replaced the stakes w/MSR aluminum red squares. Over tightening the fly will bend the poles. Seamless floor. Large, easy entry door. IMHO the pole guides, sleeve will not fail as one user wrote. No worry, Marmot lifetime warranty.
By on the go from ithaca, ny on 08/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great jacket, but i gotta agree with some of the other comments that the fit is a little small. i just sent my size small back for a medium so that i could fit a sweater underneath. also, i'm 5'8" and the torso was short...another reason the medium will be better. enjoy.
