Comments: I was hoping to replace an old Nissan coffee travel mug with this updated model but the coffee cooled by the time I got to work, about 30 minutes. The Nissan went back in my car because it keeps coffee hot about 3 hours.

By Momma from ABQ,New Mexico on 6/19/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Bright, Durable
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I bought 2 cups. One cup is great but o ne arrived without the plastic bottom so it is too sticky to use and it skids. I didn't notice it right away. When I unpacked it, it sat on the counter until I washed it before use and that was after I threw away all the tags and paperwork. I recommend checking things over before it's too late.

Cons:
Awkward cover, Need bottlebrush to clean
Describe Yourself:
Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: Although the capacity is good, the cover is a bit awkward to unscrew. There is a small inner mouthpiece that is really easy to lose. And the size of the mouth is such that you've got to clean inside with a bottlebrush - won't accomodate even the smallest adult hand. I was planning to use it at the office but since bottlebrush is necessary to clean, I've dropped that plan. Also, too wide to fit the cupholder of my car.

Pros:
Attractive Design, Bright, Durable
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: Top will not seal completely so it must be carried upright. I carry them to work in my waterbottle holder on my pack so this one sloshes out a bit. You can feel the heat on the sides almost immediately, so it isn't insulating well. It's ok, not great, you can do better for similar $$ at [...]

Best Uses:
Family Trips, Long Vacations, Sailing crew gear, Weekend Trips
Describe Yourself:
Career, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: It is good to find a bottle with safe plastics that is insulated and does not impart its own flavor to the liquid.
By Asphalt from San Antonio, TX on 6/1/2008
Pros:
Good Capacity, Sturdy
Cons:
Heavy to begin with, Takes up lots of space
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: I DO like the wide mouth to make filling or adding ice a breeze. It is awkward to handle and drink out of. Insulating qualities are okay at best. Same big size empty or full. Starts out heavy and big, before adding any liquids.

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: I've loved the older version of this mug, but the new one has a deal-killing design flaw - the lids don't stay seated. They continue to pop, letting the heat escape and allowing the nice dark coffee to spill into your lap. The only way you can get them to stay seated is to wipe the rubber gasket and the inside top of the mug with a cloth or paper towel. Hmm, just what you want to do every time you have a cup of coffee. Bad design flaw.
