By Lite guy from Asheville NC on 08/13/2008 Best Uses: Have on shelf for back up Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Flashlite is ok. Seems to take a lot of cranking to charge the battery...and it doesn't seem to hold that charge when not using. Overall, it seems like a durable light.
Handle broke off with initial charging By Norskei from Indianapolis, IN on 08/13/2008 Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this primarily for camping or traveling for recharging my phone or for emergency recharging, radio and light. First of all, none of the adapters fit my phone (Motorola Razr), then when performing the initial 10min crank charge of the rechargeable batteries as my fingers were cramping from winding and winding and winding, the crank broke off. Not good.
This is a man's watch - not a woman's By runnergirl from NM on 08/11/2008 Pros: Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Cons: This is a large watch Describe Yourself: Athletic, Classic, High End Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This watch should be advertised as a man's watch. Had it been, I would not have ordered it. It is a great looking watch, but you can't adjust it enough to fit a woman's wrist, unless you have a larger wrist.
By Hbear from Annapolis, MD on 08/08/2008 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Good Quality, Reliable Describe Yourself: Athletic, Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This watch even arrived showing the right time!
It has a timer for starts and lights up at night, number are easily readable - what's not to like!
By jmdennis from Rochester, NY on 08/07/2008 Describe Yourself: Athletic, Classic, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This watch saysit is intended for Men or Women, but it is a large watch. I bought this for my 17 year old daughter as a surprise and I did not even give it to her becauase the faceplate was large on me so it would be huge on her. It seems like a decent workout watch for men, but it's too big for women.
By Gramma from Miami, FL on 08/04/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: we haven't had an emergency since I received it, but I feel much more secure knowing that I will not be cut off from the world when the ext hurricane hits.
By Mom from Pennsylvania on 08/01/2008 Describe Yourself: Practical Watch face is not as "mini" as it appears in the ad. It is actually a normal sized sports watch for women.
Odd that it arrived with "low battery" flashing. I did not replace it and it has been running fine (but it has only been one week).
By sunflowers from Big Timber, MT on 07/31/2008 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Breathable band, Good Quality, Reliable Describe Yourself: Athletic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Watch face is easy to read. Setting instructions fairly easy to follow although I just use it as a time piece. For a plastic band it breathes surprisingly well. I've had others that trap dirt and sweat and this one doesn't so much. The keeper is a bit tight, but really does its job.
PLENTY TO OFFER FOR THE PRICE By MOVIE-ROOM MAN from CHEYENNE, WYOMING on 07/31/2008 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Good Quality, Reliable Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: HAD TO RETURN FIRST ONE BECAUSE BATTERY WAS DEAD. NEXT ONE HAS BEEN GREAT. THE WATCH BAND "LOCKS" NICELY INTO PLACE. THE SIZE IS GOOD FOR A GUY. LIKE THE LIGHT-UP FACE. USE THE STOP WATCH TO TIME MY BREAKS AT WORK SO I'M ALWAYS ON TIME!
