Its just a big pow holder.But No worries It's very easy to remove with a little sewing knowledge;)

Note, these pants do not have insulation, but paired with a base leg layer, they are great! They are light, wind-proof, and durable. I used them on a recent 9 day snowboarding trip and loved them! Recommended!
