Comments: These are a full size larger than you would expect. They are really sturdy and replace the Asolo Globalines I had that lasted over a decade. I hike peaks, but prefer my Lowas for that. They are more flexible. The sturdy Asolos are for the yard work I do on my half acre of forest. I need boots that really protect my feet. At first, the new, proper sized ones seemed fine, but by the end of the day, I noticed the side of my toes was rubbing in the front. I am going to look at this more closely to see if I can keep them. I know the next size up would be too big; so, if you have a wide foot, especially in the toe box, you might want to pass on these, or try the men's version.

Comments: I got these a week before a hiking trip to RMNP. I did not have time to break them in. I did not need to. They fit great and no blisters at all. I couldn't be more happy with them! I ordered a 14 Wide even though I do not normally wear a wide. Perfect fit!

Comments: Really liked the boot, feels true to size, and both comfortable and protective. You do need to plan to break them in over a week before going out on a hike, ankles feel tight before breakin, and the little toes are rubbing a bit. Overall, excellent boot, waterproof and Gore-tex covered.

Comments: Great boot! I wore them right out of the box at a scout camp in the High Uintas in Northern Utah. The area was at 10,000 feet in elevation. They were comfortable right out of the box but should have been broken in prior to camp. I did have a few hot spots but they never turned into blisters. They seemed to be fine on the fifth day of camp. Boots were supportive hiking over rocks and rough trails. Good traction. I need to buy a second pair.
