Christy

Christy

On a rewarding journey to Constantinople in the 1840’s, Henry Christy discovered a luxurious loop-pile fabric and knew he’d found something special. Crafting the soft cotton pile into a bath towel, Christy presented it to Queen Victoria, who was immediately smitten. Like nothing the western world had ever seen (or felt), these absorbent linens were quickly dubbed “Royal Turkish Towels” and, thus, the legacy began. Christy is still dedicated to providing the absolute finest in 100% Turkish cotton towels, many of which are still woven in their traditional Cheshire mill. They also produce high-quality robes, bed linens and accessories. Indulge in a first-class experience and discover cotton the Christy way… finely crafted to ensure you receive the royal treatment each and every day.

Poor water absorbence for cotton; can't believe it is 100% cotton. We own white cotton Christy Renaissance towels, and they are very absorbent. Could these be polyester instead of cotton?

Soft

Describe Yourself:

Comments:
They are beautiful towels but they shed when you dry off with them. I am hoping this stops after repeated washing/dryings in the machines. Not as absorbent as I would have hoped for good towels. Sometimes this improves with time. All and all a bit disappointed in the quality with this product.
