The directions give advice on how to keep it from rusting if wet.
Outstandingly useful and green too! By The Trivia Queen from St. Paul, Minnesota on 07/02/2008 Pros: Compact, Durable, Easy To Clean, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these utensils every day to eat my lunch at work and I am completely delighted with them. Each time I use them I am *not* using throwaway plastic utensils (that's the green part). Unlike most camp silverware, this knife blade is sharp enough to cut meat or fruit.
My only criticism (and it's more an observation than a criticism) is that I have to turn the fork over, European style, so it doesn't collapse when in use. As long as I do that, these utensils are just about perfect.

Knife has a dull matte finish and is not as good
as the knife in the Boker SnacPak. Specifically the blade is small, thin and with short serations. Conversely the Boker set spoon is a joke, think Gerber baby food spoon. So I got this set as supplement not as the perfect stand alone set.
