Perfect Car and Travel Kit
By Do It OutsideVerified Reviewer from Richmond, VA on 7/1/2008
Pros:
Includes Moleskin, Tons of Items, WATERPROOF
Cons:
Could be Lighter, Packaging is Way Off
Best Uses:
Keep In The Trunk, Outdoor Activities
Describe Yourself:
CPR Trained
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I bought this specifically for use during day hikes. My only real complaint is that it weighs just a bit more than I'd like. For me, its still worth having it along. There are a ton of items, including moleskin and duct tape, that are really useful. And the waterproof case is great. I keep it in my car when not on the trail, just because you never know!

I'm a trauma nurse and whitewater kayaker, sometimes I need a water proof first aide kit on the river. This product is very good for non-emergent care.

Slightly different
By Ben the triathlete from Pleasanton, ca on 5/2/2008
Best Uses:
Keep In The Trunk
Describe Yourself:
CPR Trained
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Packaging is very different than shown in picture. Branded Eastern Mountain Sports (not Adventure Medical Kits) and in a fold over red nylon case holding ruggedized ziplock bags. It is much larger than expected. OK for car use or backpack trips but too big for day hike. Contents appear to be technically accurate.

Comments:
My husband wanted two of these; he thought it was the same kit as one he had already. However, when they arrived they were much larger than he expected, but we kept them because they'll be great in the cars, and it was a great deal for what you get.

A nice small package with a good amount of items in it. I got this to take on fly fishing trips either in the car or in my vest/pack. I think it's a good choice for that.
