Too wide in areas that can't be trimmed for someone with a narrow foot. Like most all heel cup/arch support insoles these raise your heel position above the shoes natural heel pocket making for a bit more slip in the heel than normal. But they are much better than any sporting store insole you can find for arch correction and stability.

They make my shoes/boots more roomy and have the arch support which I need. Love 'em!

Don't do like I did and order the wrong size--these are sized for men and women so be sure to pick the size appropriate for your gender.
