By MSB from Chadron, NE on 07/17/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Back Support Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great pack for short hikes, depending upon how much water you will need. Other than the supplied water bottle, there is not enough room to carry much more. It has enough compartments and space for treats, but not for additional fluids. There is an outside pocket for a cell phone which is handy. It is a light pack with little weight. Love it for 2 hour hikes.
Small, sturdy lumbar pack By Clint from Cochran, Georgia on 05/25/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Back Support, Good Padding, Strong Zippers Cons: Smaller than expected. Best Uses: Good for a short hike., Short Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use it for short hikes and walks. The advertisement said 180+ cu. in. storage capacity, but it's only around 60. The small storage is good for a wallet, keys and maybe an iPod but not much else. The belt is sturdy and has plenty of room for attaching additional bottles or camera bags. The rest of the pack seems to be very well constructed - it should last a long time.
