Love the extra room in the toe box! I feel like I have the same stride as I do when walking barefoot! I have a narrow foot and these fit!

Out of the box and onto the trail for a 7 hour hike with 3000ft of altitude gain -- up to an alpine lake at 12,000ft! These shoes were unbelievably comfortable and light. I have a long narrowish, "low volume," relatively flat foot (size 11). The garmont size 11 was perfect giving me plenty of room for my custom orthotic and for a nice thick wool hiking sock. No slamming into the front of these shoes on the downclimb. I loved the green color but they got pretty dirty on just one hike. They were extremely stable except on very loose terrain going downhill (skree slope and loose rocks on the trail). I found the cushioning quite remarkable - as if my feet were surrounded by soft pillows. REALLY!! There's nothing quite like HAPPY FEET at the end of a long 10mile day on the trails. LOVE THEM!!!

Comments:
These are great trail hikers - comfortable for walking and light jogging. The extra sole over the toes offers protection from stubbing toes! However, laces could be a bit longer, as I wear my shoes loose on long hikes.
