Comments: I am very pleased with this shoe. The original order was for a size eight which was too small. I exchanged them for an 8 1/2 and am very pleased with the boot. It provides a very nice balance between weight and support.
The cover perfectly describes the book

Comments: As Tiger from Massachusetts said, the tread of the shoe is separating from the top material. And the shoes have been worn for just two weeks. I think, if possible, the manufacturing date of the shoes is labeled on the web.

Comments: These shoes are excellent. I can move confidently as they have the stability of a hiking boot and are light like an athletic shoe. The laces cross over many times, wrapping snugly around the foot and fitting securely. I exchanged the 9's I usually wear for 8&1/2's, and I think they MAY still be a BIT long, but the width is perfect as is the support and protection they provide.. Either way, I would qualify them as super, and the 'price is right'...BOB!!

Comments: this is a one of a kind shoe. I've had different model years of the GTX, and this one's the best yet. It's designed like a running shoe, but with the ankle support and Gore Tex of a boot. Probably around 18 ounces per shoe, which is pretty light considering. you could use it for trail runs if necessary, moderate hiking or just urban street use. I bought 3 pairs.

Comments: I've only had these boots a short time so I can't comment on how durable they are. However, I like the fact that they felt like a sneaker right out of the box. They are one of the most comfortable boots I've ever had.

Comments: The trail shoes are starting to break down after just a few weeks use on the job. I purchased them because they were a great value , were waterproof, and I needed workshoes that were black in color, which is a requirement of my employer. The tread or sole of the shoe is separating from the top material, and its probably just a matter of time before the shoes leak.
