Comments: I got these shoes for day hikes. I especially like the fact that they have the XCR membrane. I'm pretty used to having sticky rubber on a lot of my footwear, so this is also a plus.

Comments: I use these as my work shoes. My job requires a lot of walking outside and they work great all day in all weather. Also, used for day hikes and approach shoes. They do it all!

I use these shoes all winter in Wisconsin. The Gore-Tex allows my feet to breathe, but also keeps them dry in the wet and slush of Winter.
I have also used these on the trail. Did a one-day down and up of the Grand Canyon last Spring in them...They were flawless.
This is one of the best all-around shoes I have ever owned...period!
