Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Took a big chance ordering these for my 18yr son who was traveling to Colorado for a backpacking trip and needed 'old sneaks' for water sports such as kayaking, etc. I thought 'why not try to find him an inexpensive water shoe so he doesn't have to backpack around with wet, smelly shoes while hiking the Rockies? When I saw these I hoped I had found 'the shoe' for him. (he is pretty picky and very 'in' and very athletic) The color was 'wild' but since it was the only choice, and the price was right...I thought it was worth a try. It was just for water sports anyway! I was shocked by my son's reaction when the shoes arrived. I truly thought he was going to look at me like I was crazy! Wear orange shoes? Instead he said.."SICK!" (which means...'cool!') He put them on, thought they were wild looking and felt instantly comfortable in them. He was so pleased he walked off in them and wore them the rest of the day with his shorts and tee. The next few days he was always seen in his 'new bright orange kamiks!' He hasn't used them for 'water sports' yet but you can tell by their construction that they'll be great for it. I do hope they hold up! *note- I did order down a size and that worked out beautifully...or if he is a 9.5, I ordered a 9 vs going up to a 10 for him. They fit great...he thinks the color is 'sick' and that is good so I am very pleased!! Wish there were more color choices though since I have more kids who would enjoy these shoes, too!!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These waterproof shoes are great for gardening and working around the yard. I like that they are closed around the toe (for some protection), yet ventilated and very cool and comfortable. I will also be using them at our local waterpark, to protect my feet from the hot pavement. We bought a pair for our ten-year-old son as well, and he loves their look, feel and utility.

The footbeds make my feet sweat something terrible;
consequently, the smell pretty strong.
I think it's the material as I had the same experience with Teva Mush flip-flops. It went away after a few months of wear, which was also about the point at which the footbeds were worn smooth. I don't know if there's a connection, but we'll see if that happens with these.
Overall, very comfortable, seemingly durable, and several people have commented they look cool.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: NOT GOOD FOR ANY SERIOUS POWER WALKING. THE WIFE AND I WENT FOR 3 MILE WALK AND I DEVELOPED A BLISTER ON THE BACK OF MY HEEL. THIS SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY A SHARP EDGE AT THE BACK OF THE INSOLE.
