Love these shoes. Yes, they have a bit of stylish flair, but, more importantly, these shoes feel great. Sturdy, but light, these are shoes are perfect for a light hike on rough terrain. The footbed is solid. I have not yet put them to the test in the rain and mud.

I got a pair of these for my husband and a pair of the women's model for myself in preparation for a trip to Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii. We're planning lots of day hikes but no overnights so I was resistant to bring my heavy duty hiking boots and get stuck with them as my only closed-toe shoes. I think these will be perfect because they have sneaker comfort and are waterproof yet breathable. They feel great right out of the box. This isn't a heavy-duty hiking shoe, more like a waterproof sneaker with added traction, but for our purposes, I think they will be perfect. I'm reluctant to buy shoes online but I love my Keen sandals which are a good fit for my short, slightly wide feet. I sized up a half step from my sandal size so I could wear medium socks and the fit is perfect.

I like the idea of using this shoe for both hiking and off-road running. Not sure about the water proof nature of the shoe in hot weather but where I run/hike it's usually wet.

love these shoes but had to get a bigger size not used to buying shoes online but these are great i returned them and will be getting a bigger size and more if i can. i have high arches and go to the dr. for cortizone shots and i have never had shoes that felt so good. i'm getting custom insoles and the shoes felt a little tight and the insoles would not fit. i can't wait until the bigger size come though the mail.

Comments:
These fit just right, out of the box @ 10.5 size. I'd been getting some heel pain after about 6-mile runs with my Solomans (Which I loved but they had about 400 miles on them) and after an 8 miler in the brand new Keens I noticed no such pain nor have I since. They look weird (which is also kind of cool) and I just love 'em.

shoe fits a full size small so order a full size bigger. wearing them in the pacific NW. so far they handle the wet weather well, at the beach and on the trail. also grat for every day use. they clean up well after muddy treks. they seem to be water proof, even hiking thru wet meadows. I bought an extra pair for every day wear.
