La Sportiva Zodiac Trail shoe

Bottom Line:

Comments: I am so glad that I read the half dozen or so reviews on this shoe before buying or I would have been in big trouble like many others. This is a nice work-in-the-yard shoe but I can't believe it is made roughly a full size too small. Be sure and buy it at least one full size over your street shoe or you'll be returning it like so many others.

Pros:
Comfortable, Great Traction
Cons:
Upper is soft vs sole
Best Uses:
Day hikes, Everyday
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: This seems like a good shoe - much better than most hiking sneakers. The toe box is a little narrow, which is a plus if you want to do some casual bouldering. The upper seems a bit soft when compared to the (nice) stiffness of the footbed/sole. This shoe provides good friction and some edging.
I am tough to fit, no blisters! yea!

Comments: nice shoe, to bad it pinches the top of my foot. Will probably send it back. Also, I wear a 10.5 wide, usually get 11s, had to get 11.5 in this shoe. Still tight on top of foot.

Comments: I bought these as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. He loves them! We'll have to wait and see how well they hold up - but I don't think durability will be an issue. I would definitely buy these for myself if I were a guy. (Hope that helps!)

Sizing:
Feels half size too small
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Lightweight, Non-slip sole, Stable
Cons:
Mesh will allow water in
Best Uses:
Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: Good shoe to walk around town as well as enjoy your favorite hike, even with the occasional foray off-trail. Solid rugged sole, lightweight and durable construction. Perhaps the mesh upper sections provide the lighter weight, but if you were wanting to use this for some wet weather hiking I'd choose a Goretex option. The width feels a touch narrow in my opinion, and the toe tapers more than most shoes, I'd like to have seen a wider toe box. But still a great shoe!
