No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I love the way these shoes look, so I bought them approximately a year ago, and wore them as my daily around-town and around-the-office sneaker. Six months after purchasing them, they looked completely thrashed. The sole was worn completely smooth, the upper was peeling away from the outsole, and the leather was hammered.
I didn't abuse them, just your normal everyday wear and tear; they should have lasted more than 6 months.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are mosly comfortable, but are a little narrow for me ( I have wider feet, but I haven't found this style of shoe that wasn't a little on the narrow side. I would not recommend wearing these if you have to spend alot of time on your feet.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Thin, flexible, grippy soles make this shoe a dream shoe. If you demand a thick, bulky, shock reducing sole do not purchase this shoe. But if you are an athlete that is light on his feet and require a fast shoe, then you must purchase this shoe, and write Merrell to encourage they continue production!!! I cannot stress how important that is. I'm not sure, but it appears Merrell has suspended production of the Men's Relay line of shoes. Please write them and tell them to recommence production!!!!
