I will add this to my other jackets that I wear everyday when the weather turns cold, but not cold enough for a heavy winter jacket with a hood.
I expected the outer fabric of the garment to appear different than it is. The inside of the garment is similar to the outside of a Black Diamond jacket(s) that I wear a lot.
I have bought a couple other polartec "Thermal pro" and the fabric appears different. I am a great fan of Polartec. I look for Polartec made by Malden Mills and the garment put together in the U.S.
The jacket looks sportier than I thought. This may be good for some and not so for others just wanting an every-day jacket.
Bottom line. I would recommend this to a friend, but it would only be to a sportier friend. At the sale price, I think it is priced appropriately.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am wearing it as I type. I wear it everyday to take the kids to school, out for a walk or layered for snowboarding. Absolutely love it. The inside is incredibly soft.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the curly fleece inside and on the collar which give it a feminine look. This is the first time that I've seen this curly fleece. The pockets hang at the right height. It is a good quality fleece.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought 19 of these for my volleyball team. They are fantastic. The furry stuff isn't just in the collar, it's throughout the jacket, so it's very soft. Seems to create a lot of static electricity, but hopefully that will calm down with wear. Only other problem is that sleeves seem short. I'm 5'8" and 130lbs, normally buy a medium but went up to a large because of sleeves. Overall, great item.
