Nicely made med weight but runs large By Happy Robe Owner from San Francisco Bay Area on 08/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This product runs large. I was on the verge of ordering a size large, but choose the medium and am glad I did. The sleeves are designed overlong so you fold them back to suit your length. The body also runs large. This robe is two layers both of which are light, so the overall robe is of medium warmth. The belt tends to slip out of a simple twist tie, but it´s long enough you can ask your local scout group how to tie a better knot. Maybe you can help a kid earn a merit badge at the same time.

By Bob3 from Montana on 06/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Luxurious, Soft, Well Made Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the reviews, sized down, and got a perfect fit. These do run really big for the stated size. But they're very nice, too.

It is just the right weight and does not get in the way of walking. Also can be cleaned easily since not heavy.
Fabric choice of lining and shell is perfect. The look is pleasing.

Highest Quality and Style By BMW Ron from Mount Airy, Maryland on 03/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Exceptional workmanship, Luxurious, Soft terry lining, Tasteful stripe, Thick, Vibrant colors Best Uses: After Baths, Cool Nights, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for lounging or (unlike wool) for after bath warmth and drying. Garment fabric breathes. Not too warm, not too cool. Sleeves are designed to be long; you can role them up as informal cuffs or have them professionally tailored to length.
By jjgolfer from Orange, CA on 03/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Luxurious Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very well made. A little between sizes. Sleeves a bit long for each size, but can be rolled up. Normally, I buy X-large. Bought Large in this one and it's almost just right, maybe a hair small. So, does run a little large for most.
By JLAnderson from Lynchburg, VA on 01/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Luxurious, Soft, Well Made Best Uses: After Baths, Lounging Describe Yourself: Conservative, High-end shopper, Traditional preppy Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The Sierra Trading Post sizing description is NOT quite accurate. It describes a Medium as size 38/40 which is not the case with this European-sized robe. On the label, it CLEARLY lists it as an EU 50, which for anyone who's traveled in Britain or the continent knows, is a small large. On me -- a 40R suit body -- the shoulder cut came halfway down my upper arm and the sleeves completely ran past my hands, covering them completely. It's a VERY well made robe ... I just would not have purchased it had the sizing description been more accurate.
