By A Seattleite Lovin' the Heat in Arizona from Seattle, WA on 07/08/2008 Pros: Easy to adjust, Flexible, Good grips, Lightweight, Strong, The shock absorbers Best Uses: Hiking the Grand Canyon Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was skeptical at their length, but ending up loving these poles for my rim-to-rim hike at the Grand Canyon. The cork handles were perfect for downhill and I didn't get even close to having a blister, even after 14 miles and 5700 feet of elevation loss. The shock absorbers were great. Easy to adjust, lightweight - I love these poles!
