Good Shoe for a Good Price By Weatherman777 from Blacksburg, VA on 07/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this shoe to replace older hiking shoes (the toe section was pulling apart). I really liked the style of this shoe since its front section is covered with rubber - which should help maintain the integrity of the toe section better than my older shoes. I am a disc golf player, and this will also minimize damage to the front of the shoe that can occur as part of the run-up and release posture of some disc golf players (such as myself).
