The long handle and grippy rubber grip make it very safe to use.

One pass on my grill it fell apart! This was the very first time I tried it. The design is OK but the manufacturing technique is flawed. The materials used are OK, except for the glue. Hardwoods are
hard to glue. I am going to return this brush for a refund.
