By bmw12rt from Fort Worth, TX on 08/13/2008 Pros: Foot venting zipper, Lightweight, Stows Easily Best Uses: Motorcycle touring Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased this bag as a smaller/lighter alternative for motorcycle touring. where stow-ability is important. Should be more than warm enough for "most" 3 season camping. I imagine that on a colder night, this sleeping bag with long underwear and/or a sleeping bag liner would keep you comfy overnight. will test this Fall
By karolina from charlottesville on 07/23/2008 Pros: Compact, Compression sack included, Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The thing I really liked about this sleeping bag is that is light and compact. I was looking for a sleeping bag with a similar characteristics because of backpacking I want to do this summer. It seems warm and well designed. Zipper look strong. The sleeping bag has a nice ventilation system in case u feel too hot as well. The reason for me to return it was the material inside of it. I was looking for something natural like cotton to feel comfortable. This one resembled a plastic bag. But if you don't have such preferences it is a great sleeping bag for this price.

She had 40 degree weather and servere rain storms. Woke up in an inch of standing water. Bag was wet, but she stayed warm. Used for three nights. I'm getting another for my son!
By Jimmy from Boulder, CO on 06/18/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great, cheap, lightweight pack that compresses really small. Exactly what I was looking for. Only disadvantage is that it only has a half zip, but I knew that when I bought it, so it's not a big deal. You can't beat the price.
By Outdoor nut from Myrtle Beach, SC on 06/18/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stows Easily Best Uses: 3 Season Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seems a little thin for a 30 degree bag, but I will be trying it out soon. Very lightweight for a non down bag.
Good bag but not warm enough By East Coast Mountain Junkie from Boston, MA on 05/24/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Lightweight, Stows Easily Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The bag is pretty light weight and affords alot of shoulder room compared to other mummys. Just returned after two weeks in the grand canyon and Zion NP, the temperature at night got down to high 30s. I got very cold and had to layer lots of clothing. I think this would be a great summer, 50 degree night bag. Bag is great other than that!
By Ellie from Atlanta, GA on 05/15/2008 Pros: Cool design, Lightweight, Stows Easily Cons: Fabric snags, Not Warm Enough, Zipper Snags Easily Best Uses: Over 50 degree camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I took this bag on a recent camping trip in north Georgia. Temperatures got down to 45 degrees in the night and my feet were frozen chunks by morning. The half zipper (unfortunate) was very difficult to zip while in the bag as it constantly snagged on the prone-to-snagging material. While I love the design of this bag (shape, foot box, hood, and super cool colors), I found the mechanics of it very frustrating. I cannot recommend.
By Kancil from Los Altos, CA on 05/13/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this sleeping bag for my regular camping trips between spring and fall. For his purpose this Slumberjack sleeping fits my needs perfectly. It is light and doesn't slide like my old one did. I have not used it too many times so may not have discovered anything bad with it.
By Motorcycle Camper from North Carolina on 05/07/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stows Easily Cons: Only a half length zipper Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This bag seems way too light to actually be rated at 30degrees. The zipper is only half length (not mentioned in description.) Definitely packs small with the included compression sack, but I don't think it will work for my needs. I may find another bag.
