water proofing, nice and small - By cj from sw michigan on 07/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Comments: nice bag, but wouldn't hold the point & shoot due to lens hood (larger than usual point & shoot) - waist band will be too snug for some - had to return, but ordered bigger bag, same maker
This thing is perfect for me By Brett from Warrensburg, Missouri on 07/01/2008 Best Uses: Day Hikes, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is perfect for my canon HF100 HD video camera. It fits perfectly with just enough room for a wide angle lens and a couple extra memory cards. I did add some close-cell foam around the sides for extra padding (there isn't any) just in case. I just took it on a 3-day canoe trip in the Ozark National Scenic Riverway and it was great. I would not trust it with submersion so I put it in a roll-top dry bag when not in use. I am thinking about buying one for my friend as well.
By El Guero from Grand Prairie, Texas on 06/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Cons: Difficult To Load, Zippers hard to close Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: We took this product to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor thinking it was a waterproof hip pack in which we could secure telephone, money, credit card, keys, etc. Was shocked and surprised to open it, and find it half full of water. Damaged phone that was supposed to be water resistant and Timex watch wterproof to 100 meters. It might be OK for rain or mist, but won't trust it to keep any valuables from getting damaged. Waterproof Zippers Claim is NOT true. Later discovered in hang tag literature that item has Water RESISTANT zippers, NOT water proof. NO way will I ever place a camera in it believing it to be waterproof.

Getting caught in the rain is no problem - it stays water-tight. I use it for walking, biking, and fishing.
