Expect a little more at this price By Warren from Boston, MA on 05/27/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: No mesh layer under the underarm zip. Also the pocket zips don't feel very water proof. Returned
Can't get any better than this! By Adobo Surfer from Normal, Illinois on 04/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this jacket, it is very functional and can also be worn casually. The sleeves are a bit long, but there are velco attatchments at the end so you can shorten the length. Very nice and it serves its purpose.
By Dave from Media, PA on 12/14/2007 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Understated stylin', Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket looks so good in person! All the zippers are water-tight so there's no need for a flap to cover them. And all the seams are pressed without tape so it breathes better.
The quality of the jacket is superb, and the attention to detail is what you'd expect from a high-priced jacket. It's very light and can be used in the frigid areas if worn with a fleece.
Also, the website doesn't show the inside which includes a waistbelt to block out the snow. And the Burton label (with stretch hook) is simply cash-lookin'.
