Cons:
Snags way too easily
Best Uses:
Hand/Face, Shower
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: Had to cut alot of strings from these towels upon purchase. When tested, they seem absorbent, but I haven't actually put them out for daily use yet. The colors were decent, and as an earlier reviewer noted, the size is definitely not hand towel but more of a small bath, hair towel which is what our household will use them for.

Quality not par with price
By karma from Tulsa, OK on 11/27/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design, extremely soft, absorbent
Cons:
Hem already frayed, Not Durable
Best Uses:
good hair towel
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: This [$]hand towel was sewn so crookedly & badly at the hem, it started coming undone during the first wash on gentle cycle. Still, it was the larger size I'd wanted for wrapping my head -- larger than a normal hand towel and smaller than a bath towel. The description did say "2nds." Believe it, and get ready to do some sewing on the hem.
Much larger than standard hand towels

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: These towels have a nice hand, but please read the dimensions in the description, because they are about twice the size of a standard hand towel, but not quite big enough to be a bath towel. Also, because they are seconds, there are visible defects (frayed loops, etc...). As a side note, I chose the color "tan" but the towel's tag says "linen" which more accurately describes the color.
