Definitely a better flannel
By Ivy Quilts from Upstate NY on 7/2/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy To Clean, Good Insulation
Best Uses:
Spring/Fall, Summer, Winter
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Classic, Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: This is not a flannel like you would find in bedsheets. It is very heavy--more accurately a chamois in density and smooth finish. I waited to wash it before writing my review--no shrinkage when washed and dried by machine. In fact, it didn't wrinkle either and the edges and corners still lay flat. This is very high quality and well worth what I paid.

Comments: I live in the Dallas area & it's rarely cold enough for a heavy blanket. This is just the right weight. I like these so much I bought one for my father & another for myself.

Best Uses:
Spring/Fall, Summer, Winter

Comments: I really like this blanket. I've been eyeing similar designs on other home product websites, but all started around $100. This is more of a layering blanket during the winter, but I plan on using it as a coverlet in the summer.

Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy To Clean, Good Insulation
Best Uses:
Spring/Fall, Summer, Winter
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I bought one of these to replace a very thin tapestry I had between my sheets and my heavy wool blanket that is not used during the spring/summer months. It works out perfectly as it it very breathable being 100% cotton. I washed it and it came out fine. It is a good size for any full or queen size bed. I just bought another one today so I'll have an extra layer of light insulation this winter.
