Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Tucson, and it is often 85 degrees when I get out to run and or walk my dog in the early morning! Even though these are black, they feel cool because they are so breathable. No wet sweat when I finish running! The waist is wide, soft,comfortable and stays in place--without being too tight. Very flattering without feeling like the fabric is sucking me in. I want another pair!

I really like the fact that the waist is not drawstring. I do not like drawstring waists, though most stretch athletic type shorts and pants have drawstrings.
I had been looking for Bermuda shorts with royal blue. The black with royal blue matched many of my tops.
