The fabric is very thick and having two layers of it (skirt and compression shorts under skirt) would make anyone uncomfortable.

I thought, finally! A skort that does not "bell out" on the sides. Bummer...I was wrong. Loved, the style, fit and fabric, but the bottom of the skirt flares out! I don't understand why skorts cannot be straight like a skirt would be--not pencil straight, but no flare! I had to send it back...I was bummed. The search continues!
