Comments: I am a professional raft guide and an avid kayaker. These shoes are great for the price they were offered for here. The traction is great on weathered basalt (very slick) and the toe protection is great for kayak portaging. They are a little difficult to fit into a creek boat. The major issues I have with them are that they smell terrible after the river, (Teva really should have put some thought into that one), and that sticks go through the drain ports really easily... too easily. none of them went through the flimsy insole that teva puts in. I put my own insoles in so now it should be better. Overall great shoes, but some issues that I think are fairly major.

Comments: Have worn both sailing (racing lightnings off shore) and sea kayaking. The shoes offer great traction, good foot protection (no stubbed toes as with sandals) and dry quickly. They are also very cool and comfortable in the summer heat.

I WENT HIKING, KAYAKING,SWIMING IN RIVERS AND BEACHES,RIDING ON MOTORCYCLES,ECT.THE ONE GREAT THING ABOUT IT IS THAT THE SHOE LACE NEVER COMES LOOSE AND YOU NEVER HAVE TO TIE A KNOT, JUST PUT THEM ON AND TIGHTEN THEM.I WISH I HAD THIS SHOES 15 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS 10 LIVING IN PUERTO RICO. MY WIFE LOVES THEM TOO. Images shared by: EL PILOTO

Comments: I do quite a bit of hiking in the North Georgia mountains, where creek-crossings are fairly frequent. Rather than slog through the water in my boots (and then slog along the trail until the next crossing) I got these shoes. They dry out quickly and aren't too heavy to tie to a pack. They also don't take too long to get into and out of, which keeps the pace of the hike going more smoothly. They're so comfortable, I bet they'll make good camp shoes. My favorite aspect is that they feel enclosed like a running shoe (and protect all of your heel) but are airy like sandals. The only downside that I've found might be my own sizing problem: they're a little hard to get tight enough so they don't slip up and down on your heel but at the same time not pinch the top of your foot with the tightened cord. I'm sure it's just a kink I'll have to work out. Wouldn't keep me from recommending the shoes at all.
