Went right into the ocean, rinsed them off when I got back to the hotel. They did fantastic. I have the blue/grey and would like to order the brown sometime. I would wear them everyday if I could, but the weather is starting to get cooler and I will have to put my socks and shoes back on! Whaa. I ordered my true size, which fit the arch in my foot, but there was a good inch or more above my big toe and they looked huge. So I got the next size down, and the overall foot proportions did not feel right. On both of them the front part that goes over the foot by the toes felt just a bit too tight at it's biggest setting, and hit my feet the wrong way to make them somewhat uncomfortable. I ordered a pair of Terrafi's, and these fit and feel much better. Another thing I've noticed about the Tevas now (it's been quite a few years since I bought any) is that the shape of the footbed around the toes is too slanted for me and makes the fit difficult. I have very long toes and do better with boxy or rounded toe footwear. I am checking the "yes" recommendation because I would have kept them if they fit better.

Right out of the box they were comfortable, no break-in period. I've worn them for long periods of time in various activities (white water rafting and to an amusement park) - they are very kind on the feet.

I live in a very hot & humid climate & wear Teva sandals almost year round. They are a great bargain, because I have worn my Teva's for years! I love the fact that they are adjustable in more than one place, as each foot is different. If I'm not wearing Teva's, I'm probably barefoot. I've broken my foot before, had lower back surgery & have 3 bad discs in my neck, so comfortable footware is extremely important to me. If my feet are not comfortable, my body revolts!

There is a tag under the strap that gets slightly in the way when closing. The foot bed could be a little more cushiony.
