Comments: Boots are great. Size runs a little large. A little clunky and not much flexibility when walking. However - great boot, keeps foot dry and perfect for heading out for some skiing.

Comments: These boots are very comfortable, warm and waterproof. They are a bit heavy, and like any good winter boot, look a bit bulky, but are more attractive than most I have seen. They lace quickly and I love that the inner boot has a "handle" in the back that really helps when putting these boots on. The liner is very warm and soft. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: I was looking for a good winter boot that I could wear around and look good but that would be sturdy enough to throw on the snow shoes as well. They are certainly a good quality sturdy winter boot, but I did not like the fit at all. They seemed enormous to me yet they didn't seem to have that room inside. Sadly I will have to return mine. I would think if you are familiar with Sorels and the fit, then you may do okay. They are a great boot, but not to my liking.

Comments: First let me begin by saying that I sent these boots back and therefore cannot offer a completely detailed review about how they truly wear and hold-up over time. I was shocked and disappointed by the true massiveness of these boots. I knew they would be serious winter boots, but was completely caught off guard when I opened the box and tried them on. I read reviews prior to ordering and followed the advice of others, and being a half-size, I ordered up. This was my first mistake. I should have ordered down. In addition, I found it very difficult to walk. It felt like I was wearing downhill ski boots; very awkward and rigid. I guess if I intended to wear them for winter sports or on snowmobiling trips, they would have been better, but my intention was to have them as everyday winter boots. While they didn't work out for me, I was still impressed with the way they looked and were constructed. All in all, if you try them and they don't work out for you, rest assured that you should still be able to find an alternative on this site. Happy Shopping!

Comments: I got these because of how tall they were and absolutely love them. They are a little difficult to get on and off because of their height and their snug fit around the calf in order to keep your feet dry. However, that gets overlooked when one considers how well these boots perform. I don't see myself needing another pair for years.
