Comments: We used this product several times at the beach in Hawaii. Despite the intense sun, the shelter gave great protection, and was quite stable in breezy conditions. Very easy to erect and take down - even in a situation when we had to hurry because of a rainshower. Great Value.

Comments: I am hoping that the light weight of this item will not translate into insufficient sturdiness against beach winds. Sand pockets are a really smart idea. For mountain camping, smooth river rocks should work in the pockets as well.

Comments: Since the poles are sectioned, it makes them hard to remove when taking down the shelter (the poles come apart when sliding them out). They do have an elastic string running through the middle for keeping them together once removed though.
