no stretch
By T. cyclistVerified Reviewer from Cabin John, MD on 09/30/2009
Pros:
Dries Quickly
Cons:
Fabric doesn't stretch
Best Uses:
Commuting

Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These capris are stylish and appear well made, but the fabric has no stretch. I purchased 2 sizes--the smaller fit best off-bike, but were too tight to cycle comfortably; the larger were better on-bike, but off-bike barely stay up over my hips. Not sure yet if I'll return them.

stylish and comfortable
By prairie mom from Middleton, WI on 09/04/2009
Pros:
Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Was surprised that the "lining" did not include any padding in the seat area. Very cute, though, and will keep them for riding with the kids and non-biking wear. There is some slight bunchiness below the waist in the back. Stretchy fabric panels make them very comfortable.

Low rise
By mtbikermt from Montana on 09/03/2009
Cons:
Irregular Fit
Describe Yourself:
Avid Cyclist
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Really low rise...too much plumber action in the back. The legs were oddly tight at the top. If you have any leg muscles, these might not be the best choice. However, the length is great. So often, women's bike shorts are too short. These would give good sun protection.

Nice shorts, worth the [$] I paid. I ordered too large though so will exchange for a size Med. I love the light blue color, not so fond of the huge logo on the back.

This are nice pants. Good for Mountain biking. No padding in them so I wouldn't use them on long rides but they serve their purpose for Recreational Mountain Biking.

Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These were billed as mountain biking shorts, but I mostly ride on paved trails/road and thought they were great for that, too. Nice pockets (wasn't keen on the big name plastered on one pocket, though!), good length, a light lining. They aren't padded but seem intended to be worn over padded bike shorts, and they are loose enough for that without being too big. They sit low, which I find comfortable and stylish in a board-shorts kind of way. Just the right length to keep my legs from getting sunburned on longer rides, but short enough to keep me cool.

Very comfortable pants for exercise!
By Love to BicycleVerified Reviewer from Marshfield, Wisconsin on 04/15/2009
Pros:
Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Great Fit, Stylish
Cons:
No zippered pockets
Best Uses:
Long Rides, Power walking, Road Biking, Warm Weather
Describe Yourself:
Avid Cyclist
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I really like these shorts! They are long enough for someone my age, yet very comfortable. I've only worn them for powerwalking so far, but plan on starting my bicycle riding season today and I'm anxious to wear them for that as well. While I did not realize that the closure was velcro instead of a button or snap, it is not a bother (like some things I've purchased in the past). These shorts feel great and they're very comfortable. I bought them in two different colors and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of them. Perfect for early spring temperatures or cooler fall days before long pants are needed.

Comments:
I love the style of these. They fit very nicely in the waist and the rear. However, they are not quite shorts or capris. They hang very baggy about to the knee, like a guys surfer shorts. That's too bad. I'll have to send them back.

Comments:
I couldn't even get these on over my hips. They run really small. Not worth the hassle of returning but maybe I can find a friend that they fit.
