Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes fit well out of the box. I have taken short walks in them and they felt great! Since they are Merrells I expect them to wear well. These are the 4th pair of Merrells I have gotten and I have never been disappointed.
Great for hiking the desert!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my second pair of Merrills and they're great for my excursions. I have a pair of Merrill ventilators which are also comfortable, but with the 'vents' too much dirt came through to my socks and feet. These had no break-in period, no dirt comes in, and they don't make my feet sweat (using SmartWool socks ;-).

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had these shoes about a week and they have been great for walking my dogs on sand, grass, rock and road. They were pretty comfortable on the first day and are getting more comfortable with every wear. I find them very stable and supportive. Some people may find the shoes a bit stiff but I like that in a walking shoe.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable from the first day once I got the correct size. I had to get a size larger. The sizing ran like my running sneakers. Plan to use them in Yosemite - was looking for traction in wet weather or wet surfaces.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a pair of comfy casual shoes for everyday wear that would not only look good but keep my feet warm and dry. Although I'm yet to try them in very wet weather they've been fine when it's drizzling. I'll probably apply a waterproofing solution if need be, but so far so good. Great colour - more khaki than light brown - and very very comfortable! They are by far my everyday favourites!
