Comments: Very stable with great traction for an easier hike on rocky terrain. Fairly well seam-sealed, though haven't tried them in really wet conditions. A bit tight in the ankle, but I'm sure it will loosen as I break them in.

Comments: I use these boots primarily for trail building. I have kicked the living snot out of them for over 2 years and they have held up fantastically well. The lower eyelets are a bit weak, and the tongues leak in the webbing. Other than that they are great. Rugged, supportive, and stable. I only wish you still had my size!!!!

Comments: I always have good luck with Merrell. These are sharp looking and built for the trail. I probably would not wear these everyday, as they are a little heavy. The fit is great allowing extra room for double or heavy socks. I have been breaking them in on evening walks, and they are a bit stiff around the ankle, but I pack with about 40 pounds and I like the support there. These will work out just fine. [...]

Comments: Fit is excellent right out of the box and the boots are breaking in very quickly. havent hit the trail with them but I can tell the stiffness of the sole an the natural rock of the foot heel to toe is just what i need for my uses which include hiking an backpacking anywhere from 3-10days a trip.
