fits well - i like it.
By hrsVerified Purchaser from seattle, wa on 08/24/2008
Best Uses:
Mountain biking
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Sizing:
Feels half size too big
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

i measured my head and ordered the medium size. but when i followed the guidelines in the little booklet about proper fit, i could move the helmet around so much that the booklet recommended i move down a size. so i ordered a small size, and it fits perfect!! i'm really happy with this helmet! - it does mark up easily as mentioned by others (matte black finish), so heads up if you care about that sort of thing.

Comments:
30 years ago people scoffed at any helmet. I wouldn't ride a motorcycle without a full face helmet. THis one is good. Low wind noise but you can hear traffic very well. Got to put up with non-believers. Keeps sun off face and head. No more helmet head tan! Attach a rear view mirror for better vision.

By LoveTheRideVerified Purchaser from Boise, ID on 05/17/2008
Pros:
Comfortable Fit, Good Ventilation, Lightweight, Tough
Best Uses:
Downhill or Freeride MTB
Describe Yourself:
Avid Cyclist

Feels true to size
Bottom Line:

Comments:
I've worn similar helmets by Sixsixone and Specialized and this helmet not only fits better than both but also offers better protection. It is lightweight for what it is and is well ventilated (surprisingly as good or better than Specialized's Deviant). I would highly recommend to anyone who does more than wear spandex and pedal uphill.

Big helmet

Pros:
Tough
Cons:
Heavy
Best Uses:
Downhill MTB, Mountain Biking
Describe Yourself:
Competitive Cyclist
Sizing:

Big helmet, almost more suitable for MotorX than BMX. It is big and strong enough for half-pipe and downhill, anything other than that it is too hard core.
