It was surprisingly a little tight for the two of us and the 50lb canine companion. We were pleased that we stayed perfectly dry through 3 days of continuous rain in the western Washington rainforest. While others around us were packing up and complaining of rivers running through their tents, we were dry and cozy. I recommend leaving the interior zips slightly open to let out any potential condensation.

I love the expanse of netting for ventilation. It might be a bit cool for early spring or late fall trips. I'm a bit worried about the longevity of the clear plastic panels in the fly-I hope they last. But so far it has been an excellent tent that sets up easily.
By MX PICS from Long Island, NY on 08/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this tent for times I camp without family, which usually means a fishing or photography trip with lots of gear. First multiday trip had to deal with high winds and heavy rain. Had a couple of drips that made it in tent but that was my error because the rain fly zipper was postioned incorrectly. After slight adjustment not a single drop came in during an entire night of heavy rain. Inital set-up took a little getting used to but now I can set it up in 5 minutes. Great design and the price can't be beat. Highly recomended.

This is a great product. After setting it up once, it will take less than 5 minutes in the future and holds up well.
By Holiday Camper from Houston Texas on 07/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy to set up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Ten years ago I bought the Meteor Lite CD tent which traveled on a supported bike ride from Seattle to D.C. It served us well but then we left it in bag unused for several years and that didn't serve it well.
So thisis a replacement tent and we're delighted. The favorite feature is the mesh top so we can see the stars.

Got a couple quick thunderstorms. Tent did great. Good room for 2 people and their gear. The front Vestibule is a good size and it's ability to become an awning is real nice to keep the airflow going while it's raining.

These won't last.
Nice tent, great quality! By PCH Los Angeles from Los Angeles, CA on 04/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy to set up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this tent with the intention to do lots of camping. I reviewed lots of others before getting this tent. So far I have used it 3 times and it looks great. I fit my full size air mattress and there is room for backs inside the tent. You can also fit a queen size air mattress but it would take your whole space. Nice, compact tent.

Even though they're put in sleeves, they cross each other to fit in the grommets. If not crossed properly, and forced into the wrong grommet, the poles will bend. That's the only con for Scout use. Just watch them set it up the first few times and it's fine.
