It has many organizational features: a zippered comparment located on the top of the backpack for your MP3 player with an earbud/headphone opening; a main compartment with a divider to hold a laptop and file folers; a smaller zippered compartment with a key holder, 4 credit card slots, a zippered mesh pocket, 1 pocket to place a cell phone and/or a PDA, 6 pen slots located on the sides, and 4 additional compartments with 1 velcro strap to secure items; there are 2 exterior pockets - one is a slide pocket, and the other is a zippered pocket. There is a handle to carry the backpack like a briefcase. In addition, there are 2 D-rings on the backpack straps. There is an additional horizontal strap that goes over your chest to help carry the load. There are 2 "cushions" to help ensure your back's comfort. Finally, there is a strap on the rear of the backpack that can be used to attach it to the handle of your carry-on. This is an all-purpose backback--great for traveling or everyday use.
By bookmender from Sacramento, CA on 08/13/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality, Use it as a brief case Cons: It could use pen slots Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use it as a brief case for some volunteer work, where a dressy appearance isn't necessary. It has enough pockets to carry a lot, and keep things separate. However, it could use some pen/pencil slots and a little sturdier zippered place for money and things like a nail clipper.
