By 2ndeffort from Melbourne, Australia on 08/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I agree with the other reviewer, these are a pale pacific blue like seen on the Spyder website. great pants, warm and tough. They have a wierd setup for fastening at the waist, 2 little press studs, a zip and another catch. They have just the right level of bagginess though and they stand out in the lift queue.
Spyder Chute Pants in Pacific blue By Ron from NJ on 07/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Just right cut, Waterproof Cons: Could be an inch longer Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish Sierra wouold use the manufacturers product descriptions and stock photos. The pants aren't torquiose, they are a "Pacific blue" if you go to the Spyder site, you can see them there. This is a very nice pant. Great fabrics, just right amont of bagginess. Excellent vents. the pants are lined with a velour-type fabric so they should be about a medium warmth factor.
