Comments: Took on a two week hiking vacation to Patagonia. Stood up all right to light rain and some wind on several early walks (although the pants picked up burrs like a magnet when walking through grassy areas going to seed). However, when on a moderate hike (a few miles) in rain (but not heavy rain) in an exposed place where the famous Patagonian wind could drive the rain drops, they began to leak within less than 30 minutes and I soon had wet legs. I had to abandon the hike and return to our bus so as to not get overly cold and to dry out.

The zipper pulls apart at the bottom of the jacket while zipped up.
The jacket needs a better quality zipper.
