And I was so glad I did!!! I love them! No dissapointments, exactly what I expeceted. I had been looking for this type of boot for a long time and came to STP on a whim and got lucky!!
I do need to break them in a little more so I can really assess their comfort, but after only 2 wearings they did not hurt at all or cause any blisters, soreness or anything. Looking forward to a lifetime of use!!
And when STP says "almost gone" they mean it. I got the last pair in black, and I'm glad I did!! And did I mention the price was great, too?

Their quality is unmatched in their price range and their styles are classic. These boots are both comfortable and very attractive. I highly recommend them for casual wear or going out.
Frye - always worth the price By Tamie from Littleton, CO on 12/08/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: High on quality and durability, but comfortable enough to wear every day... and super stylish on top of that. Who could ask for anything more?
By Stacy from MA on 12/06/2007 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Clean, Stable, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a mom of six, but like to look my best. I wanted boots that would go well with skirts and pants, that would be durable in cold weather and mostly that would be comfortable and easy to wear. These are great classic boots and are very well made. Like any such boots, they do take a few wearings to break in. My husband, however, has a pair of Frye riding boots that he has worn for nearly twenty years! The price is the best you'll find.
By Robyn from Oregon on 12/05/2007 Cons: calf width very narrow Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots with great style. However the calf fit is so narrow that I could not even get these boots on. If you have an average to med wide calf fit these boots will never work for you.

The Champs are comfortable, durable, classically stylish boots - the slightly pointed toe gives them a Western look without being over-the-top cowgirl, the soles have the perfect level of grip, and after one or two wears, the insoles begin to conform to your foot, making them sufficiently comfortable for walking, dancing, and/or all-day wear. The Champs are my new favorite pair of Fryes, [...]
