Awesome deal for weekend backpacking! By Brown Eyed Girl from Dalton, GA on 08/14/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Back Support, Good Padding Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I could easily fit 25-35lbs. of stuff in this pack. I love all the pockets with zippers. The waist belt felt too high before I filled the pack, but sits just right when the pack is full. No soreness anywhere after first use.

The comfort was outstanding and the easily accessible side compartments were a major plus. Very roomy.
By Hiking Granny from Wasatch Mountains, Utah on 08/09/2008 Pros: Balanced comfortable, Easy to Pack, Expands way up also down, Good Back Support, Plenty of outside hangers Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Spent 3 nights in the Tetons & Laurel did the job, and doesn't permit me to overdo on stuff, always the temptation. Was comfortable & easy to adjust. I like the way it rides down on my hip bones; they can get sore & bruised otherwise. It accommodates a nat'l park bear canister, and I hung shoes on the velcro outside latches. A winner! Exactly what I needed & a very, fair price!
By WanderingthruMexico from San Francisco, CA on 07/16/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Back Support, Good Padding, Strong Zippers Best Uses: Airline Travel, Backpacking, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This backpack is perfect for what I needed it for. I wanted something to take for 1-2 week trips to Mexico instead of a suitcase. I like to travel light so I didn't want a huge pack. Yet this is long enough I can easily fit my snorkel fins in it. And the compartments add a fair amount of storage space. I wanted compartments so I didn't have to dig to the bottom to find something urgent...like my bikini! The compartments are both small and decent sized, so there's variation. And I wanted padding for comfort...this pack is extremely well padded throughout. Strong material and zippers. I am 5'3" and weigh 112 lbs. and it fits me fine. Enough straps to adjust the fitting well. But I also like the fact that there aren't so many straps that you've got loose and extra straps flapping all over like my old pack. It's just well designed. If you like to bring a lot of stuff, this pack may not be for you, it's not oversized...but for a short trip OR a light packer, this is ideal.
