PERFECT beach/small trip bag By Tennis Mom from Portland, ME on 08/05/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Very adjustable Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutely love this bag. It's the perfect size for a day trip with the kids just about anywhere. It has a great compartment for insulating food and drinks and a bunch of great pouches to hold everything else. It is really perfect, and I am normally a pretty picky person.
By Samie13 from Michigan on 07/11/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Very adjustable Best Uses: Beach Trips, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The cooler could be smaller and the gear area larger. Way too much room in the cooler section. It should work well for the beach though, lots of pockets to stick things in!
Accurate description of product By Beach Bum from Margate, NJ on 07/07/2008 Pros: Large capacity, Well insulated Best Uses: Beach Bag, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The bag is well made and works well particularly as a backpack freeing one's hands to carry other things. However, the proportions are a little off. I would have preferred if the insulated part had been a little smaller and the top part (to hold towels, suntan lotion, books, etc.) was bigger.

We take it on picnics with our children to the duck pond. There's enough room for our food and for the duck's food!

By chigger from Alton, IL on 05/19/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Very adjustable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this picnic pack for use when traveling back and forth from my home to my weekend home, which is frequent. Both portions of the pack are large enough for what I haul back and forth from the two homes. It's nice to have it all in one bag rather than a cooler plus one or two more plastic grocery bags. This makes it easier to bring into the house from the car. I do plan on using this pack on my frequent day trips, whether it be kayaking or horseback riding or just sitting by the river. I love this bag. It's bright and cheerful. I bought another one of these bags for a good friend who has the same interests.

By Pam from McKinney, Texas on 05/05/2008 Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Comments: Ordered the Picnic bag for our trip to Hawaii, and wanted to take lunches and have room in one bag to carry beach towels. Would have liked the top portion of the bag to be of equal size of the insulated portion.
