The material can tend to look a bit cheap if not dressed up right. The design is very cute, however, and so it's a nice addition for your closet. W/ jeans or a dress skirt, it will surely look nice.

It is a good season-spanner and instantly dresses up black pants or a skirt. The camisole or top underneath sets the tone - I wore it to a fundraising dinner and also to an upscale restaurant, and it worked well for both. I have long arms so I like the 3/4 length sleeves.
