I usually wear an 8.5 in an open shoe, the size 9 foot-bed is perfect. However, the gore attaching the leather top to the shoe is either too short or too inelastic. The whip-stitched top of the shoe digs in with every stiff step, and I returned the shoes, alas!

Sierra TP's advice to order up 1/2 size is accurate for exactly the right sized foot bed. However, when I started to walk I realized that the elastic gore was either too small or too stiff and the uppermost part of the shoe, with its stiff leather whip-stitching, digs into the top of my foot at every step. I truly regret having to send them back, the orange sherbet color is so cute :-(
