I live in a major city and get compliments all the time. You can wear them with pants or skirts. The studs are just right--they make a statement but without too much glitz. I can wear them for work because I work in a creative industry. They probably would not be right for a law firm!
Only one tiny whiny: It was a little hard to get my foot past the ankle at first. They are starting to loosen up now.
