No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return the first pair because the sole was not glued completely and the shoe strings broke on the first tie. The second pair I got the seams tore out of the side only after 2 weeks of wear, and the shoe strings broke. These Boots are not good for work, or hike, or anything else.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These will be my wet weather and snow boots. So far so good; light weight and comfortable although the high tops need some breaking in.
A little disappointed that they are grommets all the way to the top instead of some hooks but at this price I still feel that the boots were a good value.
